Hello, my name is Yabsira Yared. I am a swim instructor based in Orange Park, Florida, currently in college studying anthropology. I've always loved the water, especially kayaking in the Florida springs or at our salty beaches. But whether it's swimming or kayaking, water activities can be accessible with the right skills and safety. I have been teaching kids how to swim since February 2023, and it is something I truly enjoy. It is so rewarding to help them build confidence and have fun. I like to maintain an encouraging environment for every child when learning how to swim and beyond that.
