Hello! My name is Alexis. I have been teaching swimming lessons since February 2025. I teach my students water safety, such as where to find the wall and how to climb out in case of a fall in. I also teach them how to hold their breath when going under and calmly redirect themselves to kick their legs to the bench. What makes me a great teacher is that I am gentle with all of my students, and I describe skills to them in more depth when they are extra nervous.
