Hello, my name is McKenna Griffitts! I am 23 years old from Gold Canyon, Arizona. I love working with and teaching kids! I have worked with kids in many different auxiliaries, such as in elementary schools, the Boys and Girls Club of America, as a lifeguard at public pools in the Gila Valley area, and as a swim teacher last summer for kids in the Gila Valley area. I have been working at a Montessori school in Mesa since August 2021 during the school year as a substitute teacher, PE assistant, and after-school teacher for primary-aged children. Swimming is a very important skill that I take seriously to teach safely. However, I also want kids to have fun and enjoy swimming by creating a safe space to help them become comfortable with swimming and learn not to be afraid of it.
