Hello swimmers and families! My name is Djenica, I'm 23, and I am currently a master's student at the University of Washington. I have worked clinically in ophthalmology as that is my future career goal! Teaching swim lessons was my first ever job, and I have loved it ever since. I have worked with children and adults of all ages, where I have mostly taught children between 5 and 13 years old. I started competitively swimming at 10 years old on a Midlakes summer swim team, and I swam through high school as well. During that time, I taught swim lessons, lifeguarded (pool, water park, and beaches), and spent some time coaching as well.
