I'm Mark Casey, and water has been a key part of my life since childhood in Winter Park, where lakes made swimming second nature. As a triathlete since June 1984, I've completed six Ironman swims and even swam Alcatraz in a swim-run event. As a firefighter/paramedic on the Airborne Astronaut Rescue Team at Kennedy Space Center, I trained in water rescue, requiring strong swimming skills.
