I would absolutely recommend Sunsational. Our instructor Aden was amazing in the way he was able to handle and communicate with our three-year-olds. He taught them both swimming skills way beyond what our expectations had been. They can jump off the side, climb out of the pool, kick and paddle, across the pool with a foam noodle among other skills Aden taught them. Both toddlers really liked Aden and had a lot of fun. My swim journey began in high school, where I swam for 4 years and was captain of the team for 3 of them. During that time I began teaching swim lessons to kids from 12months old all the way up to adults while lifeguarding at the Kent-Meridian pool, and I did that for 4years. I have an amazing ability to swim and teach. I wish to share all my knowledge & swim wisdom with my students to help everyone be comfortable, & conquer in the water. No. Sunsational Swim School’s infant swim lessons are based on a child-centered and caring approach that focuses on building trust and rapport with the instructor and wonderment and respect of the water. When designing your baby’s swim lesson plan, our instructors consider all aspects of the well-being of your baby, including physical and emotional. Your swim instructor will create a safe environment for your baby to learn water-safety skills that include back floating, roll over breathing, “swim-float-swim”, the monkey crawl, and what to do after a fall into the pool. All of these skills are taught in a way that’s both fun and educational, using games, repetition, and even songs, at a pace that’s healthy for your little one.

Our infant swim lesson teachers are experienced in coaching your baby to learn these skills in a fun, encouraging, and accelerated way. Even if your baby is not ready to swim, we'll work on swim and safety skills like blowing bubbles (breath control), kicking, rolling over onto our back and floating.
