Swimming has been at the center of my life since I was four. It shaped my childhood in Jordan and gave me the opportunity to move to the U.S. at 15 alone to pursue my Olympic and academic goals. I went on to represent Jordan at the World Championships, Asian Games, and regional meets, and later competed as a Division I athletetraining with world-class swimmers and holding Jordanian national and collegiate records. Hi! My name is Bre, and Im 22 years old. Ive been in the water for as long as I can remember. I began swim lessons as a toddler and fell in love with swimming. By the age of 7, I was competing on a club team and continued to swim competitively until I was 18. Although I was offered the opportunity to swim in college, I chose to focus on academics at SDSU.
