Hi! I have nearly 14 years of experience in the aquatic field, instructing ages 6 months to 89 years, including individuals on the autism spectrum and with physical disabilities. My first job was as a swim instructor in 2005, and by 2007, I became a head coach with USA Swim. From 2008 to 2012, I worked as a head youth and adult coach and instructor for YMCA Swim in both Texas and Hawaii. In 2015, I worked for the Air Force in Germany, where I was a swim and water aerobics instructor, a Red Cross Lifeguard Trainer, and a Water Safety Instructor Trainer. In 2016, I was promoted to Aquatics Program Manager there and remained in that position until I moved back here in April 2019. I am now a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant, and I continue to work in the water, doing aquatic therapy with patients of varied skill levels and ages.
