Hi, Im Carrisa! Ive loved the water for as long as I can remember. I swam and played water polo all through high school, and Ive been teaching swim lessons since February 2021. Hello! Im Ella. Im 18 years old and have been swimming my whole life. I started swim team with Del Amigo when I was in kindergarten until 5th grade. During COVID, I brushed up on my swimming skills, doing laps and practicing at my house, then got my CPR, AED, and Lifeguard certification. I worked over the summer since June 2022 as a lifeguard and swim instructor, teaching all ages how to feel comfortable in the water, going back to the basics or just perfecting certain strokes. Ive been swimming since before I was even walking. I have always loved the water. After starting competitive swimming at the age of 11, I am still competing in college now. I started teaching at STAR Aquatics for beginner kids and then moved to infant teaching at French Valley Swim Academy. From my experience, the curriculum that I came up with is: 1) Swim to Wall 2) Float 3) Flutter Kick 4) Backstroke/Freestyle 5) Dolphin/Froggy Kick 6) Butterfly/Breaststroke Obviously, I wont go into super detail about how each step works, because youll have to swim with me to find out!
