Hi there, my name is Ian! I was born in Florida and have been inseparable from the water my entire life. As a teenager, I lettered in varsity swimming and spent my weekends coaching Special Olympics swimming and bowling. During college, my sister had four children with ASD, and I taught them how to splash safely. I love working with kids, so teaching sports and safety is something I have really developed a passion for since February 2021. In my mid-twenties, I continued to develop my skills as a teacher at the ELS for Autism Foundation, where I taught and coached neurotypical and ASD students.
