I was born and raised in Somerset, New Jersey, and recently moved to Florida. At the age of 6, I got my start in competitive swimming when my parents signed me up for our summer league swim team. Hello! I have been teaching swim lessons since February 2000. I am a mom to five children, whom I taught to float and roll over as infants starting at four months of age. I managed a swim program in Cincinnati, where we taught infants to 12-year-olds. I love working with babies and young children and enjoy watching them grow in confidence with each new skill they learn. It is very important to know that your child can roll over and float on their own. Hi! My name is Julian and Ive done about two seasons of swim lessons so far. I did group swim lessons for about a year and then started private lessons as well and did both for another year. I moved from Chicago to Florida a couple months ago and havent been able to teach, but I would love to get started again. As for the actual teaching, I would draw from the curriculum of my old job, but try and see what your child needs specifically and what they are lacking in. Although I will be less available mid August when my school starts, my schedule is very flexible during the summer time. I am very excited to be working with any of you and make your kids better at such a very important skill!
