Hey I'm Kareem Myers and I have been swimming for the past 9 years and have been teaching since July 2025 now. My favorite part of swimming is the freedom of being able to move as you want, and my favorite part of teaching it is helping people overcome their fears of water and learning how to get swim efficiently. I like my swimming plans to include as much fun as possible but keeping safety first. I'm comfortable teaching from new born all the way to adults, so anyone in any group can have fun in the water.

As a retired government employee and a devoted parent of three grown children, I bring a lifetime of experience, patience, and dedication to everything I do. I taught all of my children to swim at an early age, and over the years, I have shared that same skill with numerous relatives, neighbors, and friends in my home pool. Hello! My name is Jimmy Franck. I am a former collegiate swimmer at the University of Montevallo, where I specialized in swimming sprint freestyle. I set three school records during my time at Montevallo in the 200, 400, and 800 freestyle relays, as well as getting a podium finish in the 50 freestyle and 200 freestyle. In addition, I received a first-place award in the 400 freestyle relay and 800 freestyle relay. I am the former head coach for the Echo Mills Lightning Strikes summer league team, where I coached since June 2020. In addition to coaching, I have also provided clinics and lessons to my swimmers. I have been in the water for over half of my life and love teaching kids to enjoy the water as much as I do.
