Hello, my name is Micah Laws, and I have taught swim lessons and water safety since September 2020. Hi, Im Josh! Im a former active-duty U.S. Navy sailor and a current Navy Reservist with over 12 years of competitive swimming experience. I started learning how to swim when I was five. Later, I wanted to continue swimming and did it year-round on various local teams. I have been swimming competitively since February 2012 and coaching since February 2019! I specialize in butterfly and backstroke and have even gone to the Junior Olympics in these events. I am getting my teaching degree from Hood College and regularly volunteer with kids, helping out with lots of different things.
