Hello, my name is Manny Madla. I became a swim instructor later in life. I am 59 years old. I have always loved swimming, and it's my favorite way to stay fit. In March 2023, I became a Deep End Fitness instructor and discovered that I have a real knack for teaching new swimmers. I became a swim instructor at the Y and found continued success teaching adult beginners and kids from infants to elementary age. I am an excellent swim teacher because I am a dad (two kids, one in college and one in high school), I have a deep knowledge of swimming technique, I am creative, empathetic, and very patient.
