Hi, Im Matt! Im originally from Maryland and grew up in a swimming family. I swam competitively on a club team and my communitys summer team, where I also discovered my passion for teaching. In high school, I worked in the water with younger swimmers as a junior coach. I continued coaching through college, working my way up to eventually becoming the head assistant coach. Ive coached swimmers ages 4 to 18 and spent a few of those summers giving private lessons to new swimmers. Hello, Im Leigh Patrick. As a former Australian champion swimmer and surf lifesaver, my love for swimming in the open ocean and pools started early. Having my own children in my 30s made me very grateful for my years of First Aid & CPR training. They were given a structured program for swim safety from 6 to 18 months. This included hands-on instructor pool training, which was a great way to bond with your child and learn new skills. I have been an age manager and support leader for ocean swim competitions and provided swimming pool training since June 2019, ranging from elementary to squad.
