Since I was a small child I loved swimming like a mermaid in the water. I wanted one day to share my passion and love for the water with others. Growing up, my family were members of a swim club, where I learned how to swim. I swam on the AAU swim team from grammar school age until the end of middle school. I taught swim lessons for 6 years which was a lot of fun, especially being there to witness how much confidence it gives children. I have worked with students of all ages, including adults!

My swim journey began in 2002 at the age of 7. During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, I started teaching my own children essential water safety skills and swim strokes as a way to stay active. What started as a family activity quickly grew into a deep passion as I watched them develop confidence and master a life-saving skill.
