Hi! Im Megan, and Im 19 years old. I was a competitive swimmer for around ten years, starting when I was 9 and continuing through high school. I have been doing private lessons with young swimmers since I was 12 and taught at a swim school where I gained experience with small groups of kids ages 4 months to 13 years old. I have experience at all levels in the pool and am always happy to help a swimmer, no matter if they are a beginner or if they already swim competitively. Its important to me to have a good line of communication with parents about their childs progress and what they are looking for. I look forward to sharing my love of swimming with others!

I am an experienced swim instructor and coach with over a decade of dedication to aquatics. I have worked with organizations such as the YMCA and Life Time Fitness, where I developed and led swim programs for individuals of all ages and skill levelsfrom beginners to competitive swimmers. As a former competitive swimmer, I trained with the goal of representing Kosovo in the Olympics, which later inspired me to transition into coaching. I have also served as a masters swim coach, focusing on technique, endurance, and overall performance. My coaching philosophy emphasizes proper technique, water safety, discipline, and building confidence in every swimmer I work with. I am passionate about helping individuals reach their full potential since February 2015.

Hi, my name is Nathan, and I have been teaching people to swim since February 2021. I have experience with a large range of ages through both individual swim instructor experience and camp counselor experience. I absolutely love to teach (Ive tutored math and writing in the past), and I believe that each lesson should be curated for that student. I take this same methodology into teaching swimming, as each student is going to have varying degrees of experience and comfortability. I always like to emphasize that each lesson is a chance for the student to grow as a person and as a swimmer. Whether it is basic water survival or learning to communicate, swimming is a medium that allows students to grow in multiple ways.

Hi there! Im Miles, and Im thrilled to be your swim coach! Ive spent the last 16 years in the water. Right now, Im a college swimmer at Carnegie Mellon University, and in my most recent season, I competed in the 1650-yard freestyle finals at the NCAA Championships. I have been coaching since March 2018, doing everything from helping brand-new swimmers find their confidence to guiding experienced swimmers in their technique. Ive taught individual lessons to all ages and skill levels, and in the past, I coached a 150-member swim team. What I love about coaching is seeing my swimmers improve. Im here to cheer them on, challenge them, and make sure they have a great time getting better!

Id be in the pool all the time if I could and felt that way since I was 5. The love of water turned to speed and afforded the ability to train with olympians and world record holders, earning myself a place alongside those exceptional athletes in the finals of the 2004 Olympic trials. Since then I appreciated the opportunity to develop swim lesson programs for an early childhood center/community center, but I feel a greater sense of accomplishment when I teach, having taught ages 3 to 72 and assistant coached a team of 250+ swimmers in middle and high school. I feel lessons are most effective when we can create a comfortable environment to encourage openness to learning, and use my experience to tailor lessons to each individual.
