Hello, my name is John Hanacek. I am a lifelong swimmer, water polo player, and lifeguard. I have been in the ocean and the pool since I was 7, doing Junior Lifeguards every summer and being on a competitive swim team. I became an ocean lifeguard for California State Parks and then got to go full circle by being an instructor for the same Junior Lifeguards program. I believe everyone deserves to have the joy and confidence of swimming.
