I've been teaching swimming to ages 6 months to 92 years for over a decade. I am WSI and CPR Certified. I coached a Special Olympic Swim Team for 4 successful years working with verbal and non-verbal special needs swimmers. I teach 6 days a week year-round and am committed to continuing education and learning new techniques. I don't know who has more fun, my students or me. I am grateful for the opportunity to learn something from each and every swimmer.

Hi, my name is Marcella and I've been a swim instructor since 1995. I teach all ages but my favorite students are young children because taking them on the journey of reluctance or fear of water to being safe while having fun in the water is very gratifying. While employed at a community foundation for DD adults, my favorite part of the curriculum was "swim day". I have been swimming almost all my life. I was on a swim team in college, after college, and today I swim one mile in Tampa Bay year-round! I have been teaching swim lessons to all ages and levels of experience since February 2021.
