Hi, Im Derek. I have been swimming since I was 4 years old and had my first swim meet at 5 I have been hooked ever since. I followed my older sister into water polo, played D1 in sunny California, and started my career as a swim instructor and lifeguard, teaching kids as young as 1. Now, Im back in the water with a fresh perspective thanks to my newest (and cutest) student: my 5-month-old son, whos already learning to love the water.
