I am a retired public school teacher and administrator with many years of experience in and on the water. Sailing, kayak surfing, and snorkeling are water activities that I enjoy in my free time. I was a lifeguard and swimming instructor in college and have taught hundreds of children and dozens of adults to swim. I have also taught children and adults a variety of other water sports, including water skiing, sailing, bodyboarding, sea kayaking, and rowing. My many years of time on the water, experience as a swimming instructor, and years as a teacher have given me the skills to be an excellent swimming instructor.
