Hi! I have nearly 14 years of experience in the aquatic field, instructing ages 6 months to 89 years, including individuals on the autism spectrum and with physical disabilities. My first job was as a swim instructor in 2005, and by 2007, I became a head coach with USA Swim. From 2008 to 2012, I worked as a head youth and adult coach and instructor for YMCA Swim in both Texas and Hawaii. In 2015, I worked for the Air Force in Germany, where I was a swim and water aerobics instructor, a Red Cross Lifeguard Trainer, and a Water Safety Instructor Trainer. When designing your baby’s swim lesson plan, our instructors consider all aspects of the well-being of your baby, including physical and emotional. Your swim instructor will create a safe environment for your baby to learn water-safety skills that include back floating, roll over breathing, “swim-float-swim”, the monkey crawl, and what to do after a fall into the pool. All of these skills are taught in a way that’s both fun and educational, using games, repetition, and even songs, at a pace that’s healthy for your little one.

Even if your baby is not ready to swim, we'll work on swim and safety skills like blowing bubbles (breath control), kicking, rolling over onto our back and floating.
