Hello! My name is Egypt and I'm a current student at UC Davis double majoring in Cinema and Digital Media as well as Psychology. I used to be a synchronized swimmer and later in high school, I did competitive speed swimming. I've previously taught swim lessons at the YMCA in Santa Rosa, as well as SafeSplash in Sacramento. Hi! My name is Dolly and I am a Sonoma State University Kinesiology graduate. I have been a certified Lifeguard for over 2 yrs. with over 6 yrs. of collegiate swim experience. I've spent the past five years or so trying to help kids learn everything from swimming to ice skating to piano--and a whole host of other skills. Regardless of whether I'm teaching swimming or skating or piano, I focus on learning skills by having fun. On a typical day, I will be inspired by my students who look upon challenges as opportunities to play. We will take small steps. We will learn how to swim by blowing bubbles before we take the plunge.

Hello! Im Casey, a multi-season teacher and a long-time swimmer! I have been teaching swim lessons since February 2019 to children ages 6 months to 14 years, ranging from introductory water acclimation and safety to preparing to join competitive swim teams! Hi! Dave has been swimming since he was two years old. Raised on the coast of southern Maine, Dave swam competitively as a child through high school. Dave has worked at several summer camps as a lifeguard and swim instructor throughout his career. He loves working with kids of all ages, striving to help improve confidence and ability while having fun! Over the last 10 years, he has started scuba diving and enjoys diving around the world. I am a mom to two adults, a 25-year-old daughter and an 18-year-old son with 22q Deletion Syndrome and ASD. I am also a lifelong swimmer who swam competitively as a child. I have been teaching swim lessons since March 2024, but I have worked with children for most of my adult life. I was a nanny in my early 20s. I have coached youth volleyball since 2003. I taught toddler music lessons a few years ago as well. What I love about teaching swimming, though, is that lightbulb moment when breath, buoyancy, and propulsion all come together and a child realizes they can swim. I also love to challenge older swimmers to push their limits safely to achieve more in the pool, whether it be learning to dive or swim butterfly.
