Hi,
My name is Max and I have been teaching swimming for ages 3 and up. I have also worked with kids for the past few years as a camp counselor, babysitter, and a preschool teacher assistant. I graduated from beacon academy my junior year in 2017. I love teaching swimming lessons because its a very important skill for everyone to learn, and its a lot of fun!
My name is Adaora and I am a strong believer in playful and creative learning, and want to pass that value on to the children that I teach. I have 5+ years working with a diverse range of children, and my specialty is helping toddlers to overcome their initial fears of the water. I also work with children with cognitive & physical disabilities, helping them adapt to the water. I believe that children thrive in learning environments that have both structure and warmth.
This is the best swimming experience for both you and your kids because it combines professional individualized teaching with a comfortable home setting. I've taught pre-schoolers, beginners, and advanced leveled swimmers. It is my strong belief that swimming should be fun for kids and every child should learn to be safe around water. I am a Red Cross Certified Water Safety Instructor and swam competitively. Kids who haven't progressed in other lessons will thrive with the right instructor :)
