Hi, my name is Claudia and I've been a swim teacher for many years with students from infants to 70. I am a substitute teacher (Walnut Valley USD - 15 yrs) and was Head Coach and Mgr. of the Walnut Sharks USA Swimming Team for 10 years. I've done private swim and English tutoring with children and adults and can't resist helping others with Aqua Aerobics and Swimming at my gym. I have a BA and MA in History from UCLA. I love teaching people anything and swimming is a joy that I want all to know!
Hi, my name is Lauren and I’ve been coaching swimming for over 10 years. Shortly after I graduated with my BA degree at LSU I decided to continue teaching. I love kids and enjoy working one on one with students of all ages to achieve their goals. No matter the level of technique I am able to work with beginners, intermediate and advanced swimming. I have extensive experience teaching both water safety skills, Olympic style strokes as well as professional diving.

I actually work for the city of riverside as a lifeguard/swim instructor, this has given me experience with teaching all ages from Parent and Me classes with 6-month-olds to teaching 65-year-olds to get over their fear of the water! Hello! I taught swim lessons for 5 years and have continued to teach friends and family for over 10 years. I was on my high school swim team, and spent several summers as a lifeguard. I have been babysitting all ages for over 15 years, and am lucky enough to have a one-year-old son. I attended Utah Valley University where I earned my bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene. My passion for teaching swim has returned and I am ready to jump back into the water and enjoy this summer!
