Teaching a 2-year-old how to swim and be safe in the pool is no easy task, but Ms. SaCoastia did this with patience and persistence. She was just the right balance of kind and firm with my cautious child. My child is much more confident in the pool and can swim to the edge of our pool and monkey crawl to the stairs and get out on her own! My 5 yr old daughter loved Miss Cocoa (Sacostia). She went from only swimming in the pool with her paddle jumper to swimming like a brave little fish within a few lessons. By the end she was swimming in the deep end, started to learn the breaststroke and could jump in and swim back and forth to the side with no problems. Miss Cocoa was very strict but kind. She was always on time and communicated well in advance if there was a delay or changes needed to the schedule. She was also very easy to work around my schedule and any changes that came up, mainly due to rain. I can't say enough nice things about Miss Cocoa. My daughter was so proud of herself. She still asks about Miss Cocoa. I will be sure to request her at the next round of lessons :)
