My name is Chris, and I have been involved in aquatics since high school as a lifeguard and water safety instructor. Ive taught lessons in group settings at community pools. In SoCal, I taught private lessons with Head Above Water and had many great experiences teaching clients at their own homes for students of all ages, including those with special needs. I also trained lifeguards, water safety instructors, and provided CPR and first aid training for more than 10 years with Streamline Health Services, first in Southern California and then in North Texas. Hello! My name is Donovan Russell, and I love swimming (all things water sports related). I started my journey when I was a baby, like most! I quickly joined a swim team at a young age and started to compete! In February 2014, I went back and started assistant teaching at the same school that taught me how to swim. I moved to Texas in 2012 and continued swimming competitively, along with diving competitively! I have taught swim lessons at Kings Swim Academy and American Swim Academy in CA. I began teaching in February 2015, and it has always been my passion.
