Hello. My name is Shelley! I have been Red Cross WSI certified since February 2022. I have taught water babies all the way to group lessons and private lessons for children aged 3-12. I taught lessons at the FGCU Aquatics Center, the Sanibel Rec Center, and independently as well. I love working with children and am excited about the opportunity to work with families and their little ones to develop their swim skills! Apart from WSI teaching, I was also a lifeguard from May 2021 to February 2025. I worked both at the FGCU and Sanibel Rec Center during that time. While I did not grow up as a swimmer who competed, my mother had her ISR certification and taught me not only how to swim but also how to swim safely. I hope to do the same for all of you!
