Hi, I am Samantha Gowen and I have been a swim instructor for 2 years with children ages from 6 months to 16 years old. I also have been a high school math tutor for 3 years and a nationally ranked competitive swimmer for 8 years. I am a freshman in college at Furman University. I believe it's important for all swimmers to learn how to survive an accidental water drowning. Having fun and learning the correct stroke and body position should be a goal during each swim lesson.

My name is Richard. I have been a swimmer most of my life. I started swimming competitively when I was 6 years old. In my 20s I started doing triathlons and Ironman events. Now I swim open-water long-distance marathon events. I have been teaching swim lessons for about 6 years to children from the ages of 1 year old to adults. I also am a lifeguard for over 6 years. I also have been a swim coach and triathlon coach for about 8 years with young teenagers to adults.
