Aloha! My name is Coach Devyn, and I teach kids how to swim here on Oahu. Ive been a swim instructor, lifeguard, and surf instructor since February 2020, and I love helping keiki feel safe and confident in the water.
Ive worked with the City and County of Honolulu Parks & Recreation, keeping swimmers safe at local triathlons and teaching kids of all ages how to swim.
In my lessons, we learn step by step from splashing and floating to swimming strong strokes all in a safe, fun, and encouraging environment. My goal is to help every child feel proud of what they can do in the water!
Hello! I'm Cari and I've lifeguarded and taught swim for 19 years for babies to adults. I've babysat for 19 yrs, been a tutor, nanny, special ed & outdoor ed teacher and swim team coach. I began swimming at 5 and swam competitively through high school & college @ CU. I love teaching swim as it's a valuable life skill and is empowering. Swimming has been a lifelong passion of mine thats taken me from the YMCA, club swimming, the University of Virginia, two U.S. Olympic Trials, and the beautiful waters of Hawaii. I love sharing that joy with the next generation of swimmers. I also coach the Masters Swim Team at the University of Hawaii.
