Hello, my name is Micah Laws, and I have taught swim lessons and water safety since September 2020. I started my aquatic journey as a lifeguard before becoming a pool operator and then a WSI (water safety instructor). I have taught all ages from babies to adults, including parent-child classes, learn-to-swim levels 1-4, and teen-adult classes as well. I am also a student at Old Dominion University, pursuing a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I started learning how to swim when I was five. Later, I wanted to continue swimming and did it year-round on various local teams.
