Hi! Im a Southern California native who fell in love here, having graduated from TCU in May 2023. I swam D1 Varsity in high school, played water polo, and lifeguarded for five years (managed them for three!). I have been teaching swim lessons since May 2021, from ages 14 months to 14 years, and coached a swim team for three seasons. I can do anything from drown-proofing your toddler to tweaking your teens butterfly form! Out of the water, I enjoy baking sourdough, crocheting, scratch cooking for my fianc, and line dancing.

I have taught swim lessons at Kings Swim Academy and American Swim Academy in CA. I began teaching in February 2015, and it has always been my passion. I enjoy helping children and adults be more confident in the water and learn/improve their strokes! I have worked with infants, children, and adults, mostly working with 3- to 7-year-olds. However, I have also worked with babies as young as 6 months, all the way up to seniors. I am comfortable with all skill levels and ages. My name is Chris, and I have been involved in aquatics since high school as a lifeguard and water safety instructor. Ive taught lessons in group settings at community pools. In SoCal, I taught private lessons with Head Above Water and had many great experiences teaching clients at their own homes for students of all ages, including those with special needs.
