I am currently a student at Texas State University majoring in Recreation Administration. I love teaching swim lessons because aquatics has had such a positive impact on my life I love to give that gift to others.

Hi! My name is Rebekah and IÔÇÖve been involved in the aquatic world for the great majority of my life. From lifeguarding to competitive swimming, to swim instructing. IÔÇÖve been teaching for 2 plus years, from ages 5 to 45 and have enjoyed every moment of it. I love being able to grow as an instructor as my students grow and develop.
My name is Geoffrey Stewart and I have been teaching and assisting in instructing swim lessons for at least four years with primarily ages 17 and up. I have instructed children as young as four and have one year of experience with that age group. A majority of my experience in swim instruction occurred while enlisted in the Marine Corps as a Water Survival Advanced swimmer. My favorite part of helping teach people how to swim is helping people overcome their fears and better themselves.
Hello, my name is Ankita. I have been a private swim instructor for 3 years. I have prior experience with Brushy Creek MUD as a swim instructor. I coach each student privately since this is a life-saving skill and has to be customized to each child based on age, capability, swim goal etc. I love children and love to enable them to be independent, safe and skilled. As a child, I feared swimming and would like to help others overcome water-related challenges.
Hi, my name is Tina and I have been teaching swim for over 20 years. I work with all ages and all capabilities (parent-tot- infants to adults).
I have worked as a Child Development and Aquatic Director, swim and lifeguard instructor and trainer.
Teaching swimmers to be comfortable, safe and to have fun in the water is something I will always do. Communication and understanding is key to helping someone overcome their fears of the water. It's amazing to see!

Hello, my name is Stephanie and I have been a swim instructor for over 3 years. I’ve taught more than 100 children ages 2.5 to adults how to swim. I have been a teacher for ages K-12 for 16 years. I think swim lessons are important, because children need to learn how to survive in water and how to enjoy themselves in water. I graduated from the University of North Texas with a degree in History. When I was young, I swam competitively as part of AAU. I have had lifeguard training as well.
Hello, my name is Frances Geiger and I've been teaching swimming at various levels for over 20 years. I've worked with all ages from 2 years to 60 years. I've also worked with children as a tutor for Sylvan Learning Center. I am currently a upper level math teacher for a high school in San Marcos.
