I was a competitive swimmer for 11 years and competed regularly at state championship meets. I was a lifeguard for 7 years. For 3 of those years, I was a lifeguard manager. I was also a Red Cross lifeguard instructor. I have taught swim lessons for children ranging in age from 3 to 16 years old. My experience ranges from helping children become more comfortable in the water to teaching all 4 strokes to older children and more advanced swimmers. As someone who grew up in and around the water, water safety is very important to me. Your child's safety is my number one priority. I look forward to helping your child improve their swimming skills!

Hi! My name is Rina and I graduated from National College with an Associate Degree in Pharmacology. I am currently working towards my RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) board certification. I was a professional synchronized swimmer; I was part of my country's Cuban national team and I participated in the Central American Games where I finished as a runner-up. I worked for summer camps at the YMCA as a swimming instructor. I have experience with ages 12 months to adults. I hope I can teach children and adults to love the water as much as I do!

Hi, my name is Keith Sherman. I am an NCAA Division 2 college swimmer and a lifeguard/swim instructor. Ever since I was 9, Ive been competitively swimming both as a club and high school sport. Halfway through high school, I started lifeguarding over the summer as well as teaching swim lessons to various age groups, all at different levels of experience. I have been teaching swim lessons and coaching new swimmers since February 2021. My goal is to encourage this valuable life and survival skill while also keeping my lessons safe and enjoyable for my students.

Growing up in Florida water safety and knowing how to swim was like learning how to walk, ride a bike, and learning how to read. Important and something that came naturally. I want all kids to enjoy the water and know how to be safe around it. :)
