I've also worked with children for 15+ yrs as a mentor with BB/BS, Youth Leader at church, & other roles. I went to Oakwood University & earned a degree in Psych (2005) & The University of Alabama & earned my MS Degree in Criminal Justice. I love teaching swimming because it allows me the opportunity to teach kids of all ages the importance of Water Safety and knowing how to swim.

I have experience working with special needs: ADD and ADHD, autistic, water therapy, competitive stroke coaching. I love being in the water and helping others learn to have fun in it. Aloha, my name is Anna and I’m a Coast Guard Veteran with 15 years of experience coaching swimming and water polo, teaching lessons and water survival skills, and educating the public about the importance of water safety. I’ve taught all different ages and levels, from 6 months-adults. I strive to make an inclusive environment for all abilities. I’ve spent the last 4 years teaching and developing swim programs for children and military service members. I look forward to sharing that with you!!
My name is Sarah and I've been in love with the water all my life! I competed on my YMCA swim team from age 8-18 and began instructing when I was just 14. I taught 2 years of YMCA K-8 swim clinics, 5 summers of private and group lessons to children ages 2-18, and worked 4 years as a volunteer with adult students to overcome fear & anxiety in the water. I attended the University of Minnesota and earned a BS in Psychology in 2014. I love helping all ages feel safe and comfortable in the water!

I was a competitive swimmer for about 15 years. Swimming is one of my major enjoyment of life. I became a swim teacher because swimming is a very important tactic to learn as a child especially in the state of Florida with all of the water.
