Ive also been babysitting for the past five years, so working with children is something I genuinely love and feel very comfortable doing.
Ive always felt at home in the water. I grew up around boats, started sailing when I was about nine, and have been doing it ever sinceso water has been a huge part of my life. I was on my JV swim team for three years and played water polo for two, and those experiences made me even more passionate about sharing that love for swimming with others.
For me, teaching swim lessons isnt just about techniqueits about helping kids feel confident, safe, and excited to be in the water.

I have been swimming since before I can remember. I joined the swim team when I was 7 and competed through high school. My first teaching experience was on family vacations when I would teach the other kids in the pool how to swim so they could play with me. During summers in college, I worked at summer camps teaching swimming. Now I work primarily as a music teacher. I have been professionally teaching students of all ages since February 2005. I would love to teach you or your child how to be safe in the water, learn basic swimming, or even perfect strokes that you already know to become a better swimmer.
